Sucking chest wound is going to be the new category for stuff that is really bad, the stuff that sucks.
In real life a sucking chest wound (SCW) is a puncture that pierces a lung or two, which causes the wound to suck and blow as the wounded person breathes. In first aid class they suggested that if we were taking care of someone who had a SCW, that we should use our driver's license or a charge card to cover the puncture and stop the sucking.
I have a sucking chest wound happening at work, though not likely to be fatal: one of the faculty members giving us complicated directions for doing stuff, then changing the way tings are to done after the fact, forgetting that he had agreed to do things a certain way, and biting my ass for having done things as I have done them (which is how he asked for them to be done before he changed his mind after the fact). As you can tell, I'm more than a bit annoyed by this.
